2022 Maryland Charity Campaign - Participating Charity YouTube Playlist

Check out the videos submitted by the charities you can support through the 2022 MCC. Watch the playlist here or on our YouTube channel.

All of the charities participating in the 2022 Campaign are working toward a better world; each organization goes about it uniquely. Without your support, none of it is possible.

Thank you for making the MCC your #GivingTuesday donation destination!

During last year’s #GivingTuesday, approximately $2.7 billion was raised for charities, 9% more than 2020! That means about 35 million Americans–including many among the State’s workforce–donated on 11/30, about 6% more than last year. Whether you leveraged the MCC to show up for a cause you care about, helped out a colleague or neighbor, or simply made someone smile, you participated in #GivingTuesday and proved MD Gives, Inspires Hope.

About the Maryland Charity Campaign

The MCC is more than a charitable giving campaign – it’s the collective effort of thousands of individuals who give back and inspire hope in communities near and far. In our 2021 Campaign video, you’ll hear from Governor Hogan, Lt. Governor Rutherford, Secretary Wobensmith, and our 2021 MCC Vice Chairs Director Tung and Special Secretary Rhee, about why the MCC is important, discover details about the causes you supported, and learn how your donations and pledges sustain their important endeavors.

We are immensely grateful to the Department of Juvenile Services‘ Office of Communications and Special Projects for creating our Campaign video!

Watch the MCC Kickoff

On October 5, 2021, we launched the 2021 MCC with a virtual kickoff during which Campaign leaders discussed what’s new, debuted our new video, and explained why and how the MCC helps you help others. Thank you to the Campaign principals who spoke during the kickoff and the more than 300 people who joined us on Google Meet and Facebook. Click to view the recording, which is also on YouTube.
