Shining a Spotlight on MCC’s Charities

The 2020 MCC is entirely virtual, which means we aren’t hosting in-person charity fairs. Instead, each week of the Campaign, we are shining a spotlight on the MCC’s causes that help to improve our world in myriad ways.

Introducing our new Featured Cause Center, which highlights causes based on the IRS’ groupings.

Every single charity that participates in the 2020 MCC – all 1,000 of them – will be featured once during the Campaign, but keep in mind that most charities address more than one cause. For a calendar of causes areas, click here. To learn more about a specific charity, such as its focus area or MCC Charity Code, click here. Or, check out the Giving Guide for the comprehensive list of charities you can support through the MCC.

If you missed your favorite cause, don’t worry. Each week, we move the featured charities down this page and add the new causes to the top. To keep this page a reasonable length, November’s featured causes have moved to this page, and October’s featured causes have moved to this page.

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT

These charities work to shelter, nurture, and develop youth. They include group homes, shelters and orphanages; camps and youth ranches serving the needs of at-risk children; and recreation and youth service organizations providing programs in scouting and athletics. Some provide professional development and networks, others community and coalition building, and still others research.
