While the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic has impacted people and communities at home and abroad, charities are particularly feeling the pinch. The demand for their services is off the charts, while their finances, capacity, and resources are particularly strained due to the cancelation of fundraising and partner development events. The long-term impact on nonprofits’ bottom-line will affect the capacity of many to serve their constituents in the months, and possibly years, to come.
